The aim of our site Icône Religieuse (Religious Icons) is to make know and promote the art of icon writing through polish iconographer achievements.
Because of its history and the cohabitation of several christian influences, icons have always been very present in the religious life of poles.
They became today objects of worship which made their entry in catholic families as well as orthodox families. Icons are also offered to mark the stages of the Christian life and are offered in its entourage like proof of friendship. They are also acquired like objets of Sacred Art.
